I know this is a shitpost but let’s be honest for a minute. Who would want MNM to be our actual front 3 right now?
Messi never wanted to play for us, Neymar was injured all the time, and Mbappé didn’t care to defend with the team (neither did Messi to be fair). Sure, they are superstars, and they each played at unreal levels, but we saw what results this trio yielded.
I’m not saying our current team is better. It would be insane to compare both teams in terms of talent. Nonetheless, I very much prefer watching our team play together without big ego superstars. I feel myself rooting for Barcola more than I’ve rooted for Mbappé since ~2020
