      I know we were shit at Porto but Garnacho was such a threat in the second half when we were chasing. Dangerous every time he had the ball. Would be mad not to start him today.

      I prefer the setup when Amad starts. Better pressing, more passing and more possession. If it’s Rashy and Garnacho we already know we are going to give Villa the ball and just try and counter.

      So, I know ETH will blather about ‘rotation’ but, in what is another ‘must win’ game, is he already saying De Ligt, Ugarte and Zirkzee aren’t good enough to be starters? Last season the excuses were about ageing players and injuries, we have new players and less injuries but he’s largely reverted to a core of players who were considered disposable or stop gaps last season.

      Garnacho offers little apart from counter attack, which is better when the game is stretched coming on as a substitute

      No player in the front 4 is comfortable with the ball…. ETH hasn’t learnt anything from his previous matches. Not started Amad would be a mistake

      There is a reason it hasn’t been played this season, and that’s because it was played most of the last and was incredibly predictable and easily dealt with. Lock down Bruno so he can’t hit it long whilst taking one of many opportunities you’ll be given as utd sit deep to counter.

      He must know he won’t keep his job playing this way as he has an entire season of data to show that. Need to be brave and drop the one-dimensional players to facilitate better football. Sabotaging the entire team to accommodate Bruno and Raahfords preferred style looks even worse when they’re not firing.

      I think Amad will suit Hojlund better personally but let’s see if we can stop being shit today. Happy to see Evans in the team.

      Ten Hag will be gone after this, and based on the rumoured starting 11 it seems like he’s trying to be sacked, genuinely shocking decision making

      The front 3 is one thing, rashford should absolutely start to keep his momentum, I personally think we’ve played worse everytime Zirkzee hasn’t played but we do need goals here and nobody does that like Hojlund

      Garnacho should not be starting, Amad fits the possession style of play much better, which is what we try to do, it hasn’t worked amazingly but throwing Garnacho in isn’t going to improve it at all

      Bruno shouldn’t start, he’s all over the place, but it’s expected, he’ll start everytime no matter how bad he’s playing

      Casemiro and Eriksen is a risky duo considering they’re both old and struggle to run that long, they’ve both also made mistakes leading to goals this season, but Mainoo and Mount are injured and Ugarte isnt good enough at keeping possession so i understand choosing Case and Eriksen over him

      And lastly are we seriously starting Maguire and Evans, I mean De Ligt and Martinez haven’t been great but really? Maguire and Evans won’t play any better
