Yes ithink vvd + konate is better, but this stat is misleading since we have only really played some not so strong teams so far.
Look at the stats next month and it’ll be a much better indicator

This is such cringe content. Arsenal are always going to get coverage of their great defense because they’ve vastly improved there over the last three years. That doesn’t mean we don’t have a great defense too.

I don’t know what the source is but Gabriel’s aeriel % looked way too low to be true so i checked it on fbref and they have it at 54% which sounds about right. The other numbers are way different as well on fbref.

It’s interesting but largely meaningless, there are no good stats to measure the quality of defenders. Best you can do is look at a team’s expected goals against to judge how good a team is at defending (to be fair Liverpool sit pretty clear at the top of that table).
