We have finally unlocked the keeping our players away from international duty for bullshit reasons skill. This really might be the season.
He has been outstanding since after the Villa game I think.
I’ve never been a fan of his because he’s felt erratic in possession at times. Feels like this season he is far more consistent on the ball, and it shows in his passing accuracy and pastes per 90.
I think the bigger take away is that this international break is meaningless and the national teams agree by letting the players rest.
I’ve never enjoyed an International break more.
Now all we need is for Saka and Rice to pull out of the England squad.
Not sure who I am more impressed with, Arsenal for finally channelling their dark side or Unc Partey for staying put haha
