And he returns after Ange to win Spurs the quadruple

Should make Vertonghen his player-coach assman

But who will do the interim job in January?

Think this would be a massive mistake on his part.
Anderlecht have been a complete mess for a number of years, would be their 8th(!) manager since January 2019.
They are a big side with a lot of history, but very difficult for a first time manager to rein the ship in.

Good for him. He deserves his chance

Fucking love this lad and his resilience (injury and commitment to Spurs). Get some experience and once we’ve won the treble next year take over the helm

Odd decision, their current caretaker (Hubert) is already doing a good job and seems a highly rated young coach who already knows their setup

Escape this mess while you can

I hope he does this. Will be great to see him get out there on his own and develop his own ideas.

Should probably keep himself free for when he inevitably becomes caretaker manager after Christmas

Send him to Westerloo
Anderlecht > Burnley > Bayern Munich
