I am really hopeful and believe he will be back on the bench for our next game against West Ham. There were a few times last year Ange didn’t comment on an injury much and then they were back two weeks later. It will be huge having Richarlison to come on for Solanke at 70′ to give him rest, + we know he can press well and the attack did score goals and looked like it flowed last year when he was the striker. For sure can use Richy back to give Dom a break. Dom presses so well and has a fantastic work rate but he’ll get worn down. And I think Richy is better suited coming on as a sub. Probably can start the odd Europa/Cup game.

They seem determined to get him fully fit before risking him this time and it’s definitely the right choice.
If we have Son and Richarlison available after the break, then we’ve got plenty of firepower and enough depth to deal with the fixture pileup, too.
