First Villa player to win it since Danny Ings’ overhead kick in August 2021. Second one overall since the award started. Fully deserved, there were some absolute banger goals in the Prem last month but that one was something else.

Maybe it’s bias, but it seems to me Villa score so relatively few OMG-type wonder goals compared to other teams, that it’s always super special when we manage one.
