I think I would prefer a win against Bayern. Remind them and the other big boys that we are back in Europes elite. A draw against Madrid after that away from home on less rest can reinforce that message, while not slipping us back in the title race.
A poorer result against Bayern also makes a good result against Madrid less likely.

The Old Culer in me fears we’ll be crushed in both. Winning either one will make my day, but if I have to choose, let’s beat Madrid and get a comfortable distance in La Liga. I don’t think UCL should be an objective this year of rebuilding.

Bayern i hope for a draw at least rather than a loss but its a fact our defense is shaky without cubarsi and inigo and not many backups. The second their gone is the second we break down.
