      The 23-year-old left-back is in improving form. Currently, there are no new concrete talks with FC Bayern regarding a new contract, which expires at the end of the season. But Bayern is open to return to the negotiating table.

      Can’t wait till we have a LB again. Hopefully we bring one in who’s able to play consecutive games. Shaw feels like Jones to me, even though he’ll show his talent when he plays it’s so infrequent it’s not worth the disruption

      The cemetery for high-profile careers that die at United has a couple of new spaces, so I’d welcome Davies’s signing.

      This would be a Glazer-era signing. I’m more hopeful that INEOS would go for cheaper, under the radar talent that could blossom into a Davies, rather than paying the final product an obscene amount of money to reject Real Madrid for us.

      Plettigoal’s sources recently seem to be quite poor. Feels like he’s just linking us to Bayern players because we bought 2 in the summer.

      LB has been a big issue at the club. No natural LB and we sold Alvaro, can’t make that shit up tbh. Even if Mazaroui didn’t get injured and Dalot was the starting LB, he should have been kept as back up just incase someone got injured.

      Now Mazaroui is injured and we have no one to play LB 😂😂😂. Now its on a 17 year old to hold that pressure.

      Davies’s contract expires in the summer, so would be “free” aside from wages and bonuses. Figuring out if the player is interested, how much it would cost, etc is sensible if the player fits the profile we want

      If he goes to Madrid, fine. If he wants to much money, don’t bother. But, if it’s a deal we can do, it’s worth exploring

      I see this as more plausible than the Goretzka and Sane rumours considering our struggles at LB. Davies is however a very attack minded LB and his desire to get forward has caught Bayern out a few times. I’d be more than happy to have him at the club, he’s only 23 and if he can work on the defensive side of his game he’d be world class in defence and attack. He is also an improvement injury wise although he has missed 60 or so games over the past 5 years through variety of injuries.

      him on a free probably saves us 40-50 mil for a lb in the summer where we can focus on other areas if we go and get jonathan tah on a free too that would be some incredible business. Again more money to spend in midfield and possibly on the wings that we need

      Being a Utd scout may be the best job in the world, either sign EtH’s pets or big name players who are past it or injury prone.

      Good player, but I’m 99% sure if Bayern want to sell him its cause the doctors have found out his knee cartilage is hanging on by a thread or something

      My left field signing for left back is Milos Kerkez, only 20 and looks a good player
