Not a crypto bro. Definitely a finance bro. Gambling is definitely worse than crypto though because you are statistically guaranteed to lose in the long run.
Crypto is just speculative (penny) stocks and crypto brokers are hardly different to stock brokers – who are employed mainly by banks. You can argue this way or that way but it it’s not really any different.
Main difference is that banks have an army of handsome men in suits to con you into giving them your money – even though the index beats every single hedge fund over the long run even without losing 2% to fees for someone else to manage your money.
Now crypto brokers have got big enough to become sophisticated and organized as well so they are competing in the same market space.
