  1. love my manager so much but i can’t wait till he doesn’t have to do any more of these pointless interviews anymore. this is how the English media always ropes new managers of top clubs in like they’re there to support them – till they struggle

  2. I think most folk have underestimated just how tactically astute Slot is, simply because he's come from the Dutch league.
If you ask absolutely anyone in Holland about Slot, they fully believe he's already, or will soon be top 3 or 4 coaches in the world.
Most Feyenoord fans actually reckon he's top 5 coaches in the world right now, but people are just so stupidly ignorant towards the Dutch league that they dismiss that notion.
When he was first linked, I made it a mission to look for the NEGATIVE comments about him from Feyenoord and Alkmaar fans.
It's easy to find all the positive comments about a coach that's won the league for Feyenoord, or been on the way to winning it for AZ before covid stopped the season.
But I genuinely looked and looked all through YouTube, Twitter, Facebook etc on club forums.. I think I found maybe 2 or 3 bad comments Feyenoord or AZ fans. Out of thousands. That's crazy. I think those negative comments were only about a wrong substitute being made or something, too.

People are so surprised Liverpool are doing well because they're ignorant. Simple as that. Extremely ignorant of how good Slot was/is, because of disrespect towards the Dutch league, and Ignorant of just how well Liverpool did last season with a WHOLE NEW MIDFIELD. A midfield that's now had time to gel and bed in.

Liverpool got to within 10 games of a quadruple last season with a fully rebuilt midfield.
Why is it so difficult to understand that a team who did that with a full new midfield just chucked together, may possibly have improved after a season togetherđŸ€”đŸ€Ł.
Logic literally dictates that they could only improve in time.

Add to that the world class tactical knowledge of Slot coming in and shoring up the counter attacks conceded, and you've got a very easy bet on a team improving.

The fact all these "experts" are so shocked by it just shows how clueless they are at their jobđŸ€Ł.

  3. It’s astonishing how they have filled Klopps glorious reign in just months, yet 11 years later, and just across the road, United are struggling to even exist. Probably the greatest managerial hire (s)^ of all time.

  4. I'm trying to keep a level head here. Most clubs perform well initially under a new manager. Plus he inherited a good team. But I do see something in him and the way he's structured the team.
