      Questioning why a 36 year old Walker should be excluded from a future England squad when you have the likes of TAA, James, White all hitting their prime, as well as the likes of Lewis and Livramento in their early-mid 20s seems dumb.

      We actually don’t have crazy depth at right back anymore, i remember years ago it was trent, walker, james and trippier who all could’ve started and we’d be happy, now if u look at those 4 options there’s walker and trippier who have fallen off a cliff most likely down to age then james has barely played in years now. Trent is the nailed on starter especially now he’s defensively amazing aswell, been the best defensive right back in the league for me so far this season, then there’s rico lewis and james depending on fitness

      do people realise Walker will be 36 in 2026😭 like even this season he’s fallen off a cliff quality wise, ive always said without pace he’s an average fullback and he’s proving it now, he can’t use his pace to catch up with wingers now and his decision making and reading of the game is poor

      Interesting thing to see will be if Tuchel utilises a back 3, with wing backs. That typically means 2 number 10's and not touchline wingers, to allow space for the wing back to bomb up. Does that mean Foden and Bellingham, or Palmer and Bellingham for instance. What does this mean for Saka, can he play more inside and impact the game from more central, or will he get moved to wing back.

      Am I the only one who thinks that Tino Livramento is a better player than Rico Lewis? Defensively superior, more physical, and also quicker. If you want an inverted fullback, you play Trent. If you want a wing-back, you play Livramento, surely.

      If Nieve is on I'm watching. Exceptional pundit with unbiased opinions. Lyes is quality as well, even if I don't always agree with his opinions at least he can give rational reasoning for his arguments.

      I think 26 players is too much for the format. 22 players would make for a more entertaining format and tougher decisions. Nieve on point and top knowledge as always and Lyes, too!

      James over walker is criminal , walker one of the most decorated footballers in that squad and he’s still playing game in game out , this England squad needs experience

      If Tuchel picks this side I’ll be upset. I love Neave I think she’s one of the most clued up guests on this show but she’s clearly not a tactician. England offer so little past the midfield in big tournaments and despite talking about that they haven’t put the players in to make it happen? Grealish and Elliot over Noni, Rogers and Eze is absolutely terrible
