This shows that you shouldn’t be too influenced by stats. The Zirkzee and Ederson attempts were both out of reach of the players- Zirkzee would have had to be a foot taller to make good contact with that
I don't care about stats, I care about your ability and consistency to put it in the net..
Jackson at the end "Touch was not good" and he had to look for the where the posts were.
xG is the most useless stat in football. An expected goal for one player won’t be the same as an expected goal for another, eg an xG for Haaland isn’t gonna be the same for a league two striker with a lesser ability. And no two chances are ever identical anyway. Sometimes you’ll see a high xG on a difficult change and a low xG on an absolute sitter, it’s just an absolute nonsense.

Dalot should have been there. All he had to do is lift his foot then hit it. He's not a good player for Man United not just because of that sitter it's because he can't defend

I'm a die hard Liverpool fan but I'd be fuming at this if Zirkzee was one of our players. This isn't a 'worst miss' he's having to stretch to get anything on it. Sky know what they're doing placing him in the thumbnail to capitalise on the recent hate.
